Banana Bread Muffins

“Banana Bread Whole Wheat Muffins”😻😻🍌🍌. Man, these smell so delicious!! I had a few bananas that were getting a little overripe, so I decided to make some #muffins! These are super moist and super delicious! Oh and did I mention that they are low fat, sugar free, whole wheat, and only 100 calories per muffin!? Yep. How much better can it get😱!?
Makes 12 Muffins
Recipe:
• 1 Cup White Whole Wheat Flour
• ½ Cup Unsweetened Applesauce
• ¾ Cup Xylitol Sweetener
• 3 ripe Bananas
• 4 Egg Whites
• ¾ Tsp Baking Soda
• ½ Tsp Baking Powder
• 1 Tsp Cinnamon
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
2. Whisk all ingredients thoroughly
3. Line 12 muffin tins with liners
4. Distribute batter into cups evenly
5. Bake for 20-25 minutes

100 Calories
0 g Fat (0 Sat)
26.5 g Carb (2.5 Fiber, 3.5 Sugar)
3 g Protein

  2. Hi!! Do you think these can be made with Stevia instead of Xylitol? I have GI problems and my doctor suggested I avoid xylitol! If so, would those be a 1 to 1 ratio?

    1. Definitely not 1 to 1 ratio!! You will have to check (on your stevia box/container what the ratio to sugar is and then use that). I think that you may be able to make these with stevia… But, they probably won’t out as good because the batter will be missing some volume. And xylitol taste pretty dead on to sugar, but stevia has a different taste.
